Biochar, streamlined
for carbon removal.

We convert woody residues that would otherwise decompose emitting carbon dioxide, into
biochar, permanently locking away carbon.

Why Removals

Cutting emissions isn't enough on its own.

Some emissions can't be eliminated. Reaching net zero means removing carbon from the atmosphere as well as releasing less of it, and that removal has to be permanent to count.

Plants capture CO₂ through photosynthesis as they grow. Pyrolysis transforms that biomass into stable biochar: carbon that, once sequestered in soil, stays there for thousands of years instead of cycling back into the atmosphere.

Our Process

From residue to permanent removal.

A streamlined, four-step process built for carbon removal first, not energy generation or mixed waste processing.

  1. 01

    Residual Biomass

Woody residue from forestry operations, sawmills, and invasive species removal. Without conversion, this material decomposes and releases its carbon straight back into the atmosphere.

  2. 02

    Pyrolysis

Modular, continuous reactors convert residue into biochar close to the source, reducing capital cost and complexity while keeping carbon removal the priority.

  3. 03

    Sequestration

Biochar is incorporated into compost and soils through partnerships. This improves nutrient retention, structure and yields, while locking carbon away for millennia.

  4. 04

    Certification

Every tonne is measured, reported, and verified through Rainbow, a registry endorsed by the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA).

Generation Two

We've validated the technological approach.

Generation Two is our first continuous pyrolysis reactor, built and running in the field. With lab verified results, it's the foundation we're scaling from.

Generation Three

And already working on what's next.
